An important aspect of the Hindu ceremony is to light a sacred fire, created from ‘ghee’ (clarified butter) and woolen wicks, to evoke the God, Agni (Fire God), to bear witness to the ceremony. The highlight is ‘Saptapadi’, also called the ‘Seven Steps’.
