Marriage Registration
Stage 1 : Filling the Declaration of Marriage in the Office. Both of the bride and groom must be present and the parents of the bride who is below 21 years of age.
Stage 2 : Actual Registration of Marriage. The presence of the bridegroom, the bride and two witnesses (plus parents, additional witnesses, interpreter, etc., if so advised at the declaration stage) must be present.
Stage 3 : Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, approach Registrar of Marriages in Municipal Corporation in the area where the marriage is solemnized.
Stage 4 : Application can be submitted in the office of Registrar of Marriages -cum-Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation on any working day. Stage 5 : Please make sure you have all the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section.
